Gridlock for Wellington? You betcha
- Iona Pannett
- Environmentalists have long argued that building more roads induces traffic so it is great to see Opus finally acknowledging this fact. Opus were the builders of the Inner City Bypass. We made this argument but unfortunately lost it in the late 1990s and early 2000s. In 2013, we finally may be starting to win the argument. Photo courtesy of stuff.co.nz

Cenotaph makeover
- Iona Pannett
- Good to announce plans to make over the area around the Cenotaph. The Council has made a long term commitment to enhancing Wellington's status as the capital. Opening up this dark and inaccessible area will be a big contributor to that commitment. Photo courtesy of Wellington City Council
