Planning in place for this week’s nurse and midwife strike
- Capital & Coast District Health Board
- Midwives who are members of the Midwifery Employee Representation & Advisory Service (MERAS) will undertake strike action from 8am to 8pm on Thursday 19 August. Nurses, midwives, and healthcare assistants who are members of the New Zealand Nurses Organisation (NZNO) will undertake strike action on the same day – from 11am to 7pm on Thursday 19 August.
