Newtown Art Project / December 2009
The Newtown Art project is an initiative of the Newtown Community and Cultural Centre. It is all about encouraging and celebrating creativity in Newtown and making art accessible to everyone. The project will include; a community exhibition- held at the Newtown Community and cultural centre (Cnr of Colombo and Rintoul sts), a trail of Newtown based Art sites (galleries, artists studios and spectacular artistic interventions!), And a series of artist run workshops open to the community.

- Planning for the Newtown Art Project is ticking along nicely. We now have a full schedule of artist workshops which will be advertised and open for people to sign up from sometime in early February. All workshops will be just a gold coin donation to participate.
