- Under 65B Team win Grade Final

  - Saturday 29 August 2009: The true Stream spirit and pride were on show as the Under-65B Rugby team won 8-7 against the HIBS Under-65A Team in the Under-65 Grade Final. That special Stream character was needed as the team held out HIBs for 15 minutes while down to 12 players and then held a 1-point lead for the last 30 minutes of the game.

- First XI Takes 2009 Title

  - Saturday 22 August 2009: The First XV capped a fine season by taking the Wellington Division 1 title, beating Scots College 3-1 in the Final. Hamish Watson scored all three goals - his second hat-trick of the season. The team also won five of the six Traditionals this year including a first ever win over Palmerston North Boys' High School.

  - Thursday 20 August 2009: More than 70 Streamers donated blood this morning when the NZ Blood Donor Service visited. Being in the age group (17-30) that most uses the blood collected, it was great to see so many boys donating. In fact, there were too many volunteers to be catered for in the time allowed.

  - Wednesday 19 August 2009: Old Boy and local fiction author Pat Whitaker dropped into the school library today to donate copies of his six self-published books.

  - Wednesday 12 August 2009: Stream's Road Race Team put in another strong peformance in the Wellington Secondary Schools' Road Race Championships held at the CIT Campus in Upper Hutt and run over 3 km (Year 9), 4 km (under-16) and 6 km (senior).

  - Monday 17 August 2009: Last night saw a disappointing end to a roller coaster season for the First XV as they fought hard in the Premier 1 Final, eventually losing 43-7 to Wellington College.

  - Wednesday 12 August 2009: Stream's Samoan Group performed with passion and pride in front of thousands at the TSB Arena in Wellington as part of Pacifically Wellington. - Mass of the Assumption at Our Lady of Grace

  - Friday 14 August 2009: Seven hundred boys proudly walked behind their House banners over the kilometre from school to our parish church, Our Lady of Grace Heretaunga, for this year's Mass of the Assumption. The Mass was officiated by Father Greally and three Marist priests who had taught at Stream in past years: Fathers Delaney, Quinn and Milne. Members of the Parish also attended.
