      • Tuesday 2 March 2010: It was a hard day for Stream at the McEvedy Shield today. With strong teams from all four schools it was always going to be tough. A few early highlights were: Fletcher Greaves winning the Under-14 100m and Aviata Silago throwing 44 metres to win the Open Discus.

      • Thursday 25 February 2010: Stream Head Boy in 1967, Father Tony O'Connor, talked today to students about his life and work in Peru and, most recently, Venezuela over the last 30 years. With photos of the school he runs outside of Caracas, he spoke of the daily life of students in a shanty town.

      • Friday 19 February 2010: In glorious sunshine, the senior students competed in the second leg of the Inter-House Swimming Challenge. The results from today's competitions will be combined with the Junior results from Thursday to determine the overall House Champion.

    • Ash Wednesday services mark start of Lent

      • Wednesday 17 February 2010: To mark the start of the Lentern season, Ash Wednesday services were held separately for junior and senior students. Led by senior students, the services included reflections and readings around the meaning of Lent. Each student came forward to receive an ash cross on their forehead as a reminder of this time in Christ's life.

      • Tuesday 16 February 2010: With fantastic support from the whole school, the Old Boys' team performed strongly but it was not enough to wrest the cup from Town,  who ran out eventual winners 369-279.

      • Wednesday 2 December 2009: "Belonging" was the theme for the 2009 Year 9 Retreat. Through a range of activities, students reflected on the history of the college and what it really means to "belong". Unfortunately, the much-anticipated swim in the College pool was abandoned due to inclement weather. The day finished with a Mass led by Father John Greally.

      • Friday 27 November 2009: Competitive fun was the order of the day as Year 9 and 10 students competed in their Houses in a variety of activities. After athletics finals in the morning, Benediction was held in the chapel, with teams then competing for titles in Touch Rugby and 10/10 Cricket. Meanwhile, the competition for Stream's Strongest Man was taking place. A fantastic day.

      • Wednesday 11 November 2009: Stream's Junior Touch Rugby team had an excellent day at the Hutt Valley Tournament. The team lost only one game all day, to the eventual winners, Taita College. During round-robin, they scored 32 points with only 10 against. Playing off for third-fourth, Stream won 4-3 in a nail-biting final against Aotea College.

      • Wednesday 11 November 2009: On a night to remember, Year 13 students attended their last Mass as part of their Graduation night.  Citations were presented to all students in the school Chapel with parents and family looking on. A delightful dinner in the auditorium with parents and staff followed, before academic awards were presented. True to tradition, the night finished with the school haka.

      • Friday 6 November 2009: Radio Network presenter Ron Snowden was a special guest at today's Sports Prizegiving Assembly celebrating the sporting successes of Stream in the past year.

      • Monday 9 November 2009: In a closely fought contest this morning, the judges had a difficult task separating the contestants. In the end, the winner was Chris Alosio with his speech on "Being a Streamer" with Caleb Ford ("Nothing") second and Daniel Mahoney ("2012") third.

      • Green Party Fisheries Spokesperson, Gareth Hughes, will join South Wellington residents for a beach cleanup between Owhiro Bay and Island Bay this evening. "Litter from this beach blows and washes into Taputeranga Marine Reserve which is home to over 180 species of fish. It is my pleasure to be part of the message that it is our responsibility to take care of our environment," Mr Hughes said today.
