- 11 May 2012
- Bryan Pepperell - Back To The Future
- WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL INTEREST ON BORROWINGS FOR THE FULL YEAR IS NOW FORECAST AT $21.2 M. So before all else we must pay $21.2 million in interest alone. Interest on debt is a big problem and you should have your say about this serious issue.

Has the airport company lost the plot?
- 22 May 2011
- Bryan Pepperell - Back To The Future
- SAY NO TO WELLYWOOD SIGNOur brand as the creative centre of New Zealand is in the process of being downgraded. To even have a lengthy public debate is corrosive. Adopting this tacky imitation makes us look deeply shallow and builds a perception that will leave a sense of discomfort for many years to come. We are so much better than this. Out with wellywood sign
- 21 May 2011
- Bryan Pepperell - Back To The Future
- WELLYWOOD SIGN MUST NOT GO UP SAYS BRYAN PEPPERELL- Wellington City Council's rep on the Airport company is Deputy Mayor Ian McKinnon and for his representation on behalf of the ratepayers he receives an extra $40,000. If Cr McKinnon cannot put up a good argument opposing such tasteless negative branding he really should resign from the airport company.

Submit on the Wellington City Council Community Draft Annual Plan now. Don’t dither!
- 2 Apr 2011
- Bryan Pepperell - Back To The Future
- Submit on the Wellington City Council Community Draft Annual Plan now. Don’t dither! Democracy only works when we all participate. With low turnouts at election time and poor participation rates in the Council Community Annual and Long Term Council Community Plans, outcomes can get distorted. If you don’t vote and participate in the process then you shouldn’t complain about the outcome.

- Almost Saturday at last! I'm speaking at a Fairtrade event - almost a year since this city became the world's first southern hemisphere Fairtrade Capital! The ethical basis for Fairtrade is a great example of how consumption and economic forces can either be anti-people and anti-environment or supportive within clear limits.
