New parking racks for e-scooters will start being installed in busy areas around central Wellington from next week to provide spaces where scooters can be left safely out of the way of pedestrians.
Public share e-scooters will continue to operate on Wellington streets but with some changes including more dedicated parking spaces around the city so e-scooters can be safely parked to help keep footpaths clear for pedestrians.
An online survey is available from today to help gauge how Wellingtonians feel about the public share e-scooter schemes that have been operating in the city since June 2019.
