Police activated us and we launched MR2. Nothing found on location. 2 surf boats training in the area reported seeing waka heading back up the channel to Onepoto harbour. Called Police to report this and they confirmed that they were safe and well and had just sent a stand-down. Returned to base.       • Operation Details Date/Time:  Tue, 11/09/2018 - 11:30 - 13:30 Operation Type:  SAROP Cat 1 People Assisted:  2 Total Volunteer Hours:  10 Police callout (incident # P034833430), Jetski Broken down off Plimmerton Beach, 2 POB.  On arrival on scene, 2 POB were in the water and had been so for 2.5 hours holding the jetski off the reef.  The POB's were brought onto the CRV and the jetski was taken under tow. A person on shore reported the grounding to Coastguard who went out to see if we could assist. They were able to sit on anchor to avoid being blown onto the rocks while Coastguard Mana responded. We towed them back to their vehicle that was at the launching ramp between the bridges at Paremata.
