The others were waiting. I got into the waiting patrol car, and buckled up. I was going out on community patrol in Naenae. Community patrols work alongside police to build safer communities, providing an extra set of eyes and ears. While the political battle was raging and we were overwhelmed by a developer friendly Council, Save Te Rae Kai Hau Point was formed.
