Due to the falling tide it had to remain there for the day and we returned the owner back to it at 9pm to retrieve it. We used MR2 to tow it off the sand once the water level was high enough and safely returned to the launching ramp between the bridges. The tow was transferred to Porirua Rescue and two men were also transferred from the dinghy to increase free board on the dinghy. The dinghy was towed to the Paremata Bridge launch ramp. The two men on Porirua Rescue were dropped off at the Mana Marina Coastguard berth.
