Astronomy in Islam

- Join us for an evening at Ruth Gotlieb Library in Kilbirnie to learn more about the importance of astronomy in Islam as we celebrate Islam Awareness Week. There will be a presentation, displays, time for questions and if it is a clear night a chance to look at the night sky through a telescope. Light refreshments are provided from 6pm and the programme will begin at 6.30pm, Thursday 13 August.
