      • A rail inquiry into a fire on a Wellington train reveals a fault was a week old but never reported because of “weaknesses in the fault reporting system.

      • Green Party Fisheries Spokesperson, Gareth Hughes, will join South Wellington residents for a beach cleanup between Owhiro Bay and Island Bay this evening. "Litter from this beach blows and washes into Taputeranga Marine Reserve which is home to over 180 species of fish. It is my pleasure to be part of the message that it is our responsibility to take care of our environment," Mr Hughes said today.
