      • If so, The VBC has a solution and thought we should let you know about the recently announced FilmTiki competition. Read on: FILMTIKI’S ‘HOW TO’ COMPETITION MAKE US A FILM AND WIN $1500. SIMPLE AS THAT. Actually, there is a bit more to it, but essentially FilmTiki is on a search for a ‘How to’ guide for their new site and what better way to show it, than through the power of film. Therefore, with this in mind, we have decided to invite all filmmakers to come up with a 90-120 second clip on ‘How to FilmTiki’. Not only does the winner receive $1500, but will also feature on the front page of our website and have their work screened during our tour of major film festivals throughout 2009. Essentially the film will simply explain not only how to use FilmTiki’s Wiki and Tool, but the benefits and possibilities that it offers to filmmakers. Submissions are welcome from anywhere in the world, though entrants must be over the age of 18-years-old. For more information and entry form click here. About FilmTiki FilmTiki.com is a website that aims to make filmmakers’ lives a whole lot simpler by creating a wiki and platform that will provide specifically tailored solutions on how to best promote and distribute films. Indeed, it is as easy as booking a flight: just tell us what you have and want, and we’ll tell you how to get there. Currently we are in our development stage, as we gear up for our launch in January 2009, you find more info and sign up to the site here.
